Corset for Sale

Hi everyone ....

I have a friend who bought a corset at faire a couple years ago and she doesn't wear it much anymore, so she asked if I could help her out and ask the ren community if anyone local might be interested in buying it, as I know more people who might be interested in buying it than she does.  It's a size large, green velvet with steel boning, only worn a few times, and she is looking for at least $100 for it.  (She paid $150 originally.)  If anyone is interested/needs more info, let me know!

Also it looks like theres holes for straps...are the straps included?

I'm going to hop in and say that the corset is a Noblesse Oblige Stay made by Leslie Harris. They are SUPER comfy, I wore one all season while working in the shoppe. It looks like the tag says Large, but don't quote me on that. I don't know measurements on her pieces mainly because it was a try-on basis at the shoppe.

So to sum it up: Great workmanship and super comfy imho!

I would be interested but I would have to know that it would fit me first, as I am a bit on the bigger side

The laces do come with it...my mom has the same exact corset and I've worn it before, it's really not too uncomfortable at all, given the nature of corsets of course.  I've asked her for measurements, so I'll get back to you when I find out!!

I think she was asking if there were shoulder straps, since there seem to be holes to lace them into.

D'oh, of course...um, to be honest I am not certain...my mom's does not have shoulder straps, then again it is quite possible that they're not as similar as I thought they were.  The young lady in question who is trying to sell it is out of town herself and is not in the same location as the corset, so getting numbers on measurements may take a little while...but I will try to get back with that information as soon as possible!
