I'm trying to find a video of the dance scene from one of the old versions of Romeo and Juliet where they all wore bells on their wrists (I believe I was told it was the 1968 version?). I'm not sure if it was choreographed specifically for the movie or was an actual renaissance dance - anyone happen to know anything about it or if it has a name? Someone recommended it to me for a renaissance dance program I lead but I cant find it on YouTube or anywhere.

Destroying rainforest for economic gain is like burning a Renaissance painting to cook a meal.

Wasn't it called the Moresca? Love that film.  :)

I think it is also known as a Saltarello. At least that is what's paired with Moresca and Romeo and Juliet when I do a search.

That is very helpful, thank you! I found a reference somewhere naming the moresca, but only found middle eastern cultural references to it, not renaissance dances.
