I'm not afraid to admit that I have food addiction, and, like any addiction, especially one that is VITAL to LIFE, it's not JUST about choice, there's a whole mess of emotion wrapped up there too.

anyway, I'm climbing back on the WW wagon because I KNOW, for a fact, it works if I am honest and really TRY. I want my face back!

please, say a prayer for me, burn a message to the gods, whatever you like- help me lift up this burden, literally and figuratively.

I know you can do it!  You can always talk to us if you need a little motivation or discration.   ;)

Having stopped attending WW meetings and checking out the web page after a year (I'm now pregnant) I know my addiction to food has kicked into high gear.  I hope I am as strong as you in getting back into control of my love for food as you have been. Just think of all the new garb you can get!!

Wishing you much success and good health on your WW journey!! :)

I share the same feelings with you.  I have gone back to WW half-heartedly (lifetime member, reached goal 4 times and gained it back), but now that faire season is almost over, I am determined to stay on track and lose the weight for good.  For the last time.  The motivation:  Most of my wonderful (as opposed to just okay) garb doesn't fit.

I will pray for you, and hopefully, you will pray for me.  Together, bellevivre, we can do it!  And anyone else who needs support from friends.  Sound good?

I guess it's a good thing that our faire season is almost over.  I came back from 3 1/2 days last weekend going to the MN RF, & eating out Friday night, all day Saturday & Sunday, then Monday morning & lunch and gained a pound.

Ah, to persevere.........

had my first weigh in this morning- 4.9 gone! I know that the losses will not all be that big, but wahooo!

TRF opens in two weeks, and I know I will get off track that weekend, and likely gain that week. I am expecting it, and that makes it a much easier thing to deal with- my goal for the remainder of that week AFTER faire will be to keep myself within my daily points, to not touch my weeklies, and hopefully that work will keep me to a maintain or small loss, and nopt a huge gain.

Since June 20th, we have had only 3 weekends where we didn't have a faire, wedding, or other type of party to go to.  It's been havoc trying to stay on the program, so I'm happy with .4 losses, with only a couple of small gains thrown in.  Last week was the most I've gained, 1 lb, throughout all of it, but I was away & eating in restaurants or at the faire for 3 1/2 days.  I have 2 more weekends of local faires, then hunkering down for the winter, back to the gym on a more regular basis, etc.

Back to my "beautiful garb" weight by next faire season!

Your loss was magnificent, bellevivre, keep up the good work!
