That's an interesting shot, Phoenix.  I like the contrast between the foreground and the sky, with the one tiny light on the barely discernible roadway in the distance, and that one streak of brighter yellow/orange across the sky.

Yeah... flaming kevlar just doesn't quite taste the same with chocolate and graham crackers, huh?

Awesome HDR there today, as well.  Can almost... taste... some of those colors.  Very nice!

RFP, that GC sunset pic just flooded me with memories of the 8 months I spent working there in '88...  It's amazing how the sky can take on so many of the colors of the stones below it, even when the haze obscures so much of the view.  Beautifully framed, btw. 

Sooo much truly impressive work in here lately!  Impossible to say what I've enjoyed about each, but there is so much talent in this thread, and there have been some incredibly breathtaking shots recently!  Thank you all for sharing...

Rani, yes they are chicken hats. Those two fine performers are The Wacky Chickens, I've seen them here(MNRF) and at Carolina.

The light was just right and the dust kicked up from prior runs through the field created the nice foggy effect. In the photo are Richard and Travis Alvarez, Father and Son who joust for Noble Cause Productions.
