Lady D1

My daughter decided she wanted homemade fairy wings.  She is going to be a Vampire Fairy for Halloween (her own creation once again this year)  So off to Micheal's we went and 3 hours later.  Here are the results:

To put it all together, I used floral wire, leftover poly-fill surrounded by black duct tape covered with more leftover purple tulle and of course, the hot glue gun.
Don't delay, taste a tart today!

Adriana Rose

Love it.  The look on her face in the first picture is classic teenager too.

Please post some pictures of her all done up on Halloween

Oh, Wow.  Molly Brown - I lived in Denver for ages; Gimli, and a vampire fairy - I am uber impressed with everyone's work.

Echoing the Wows in here! Not sure where to start.... :)

Yes, very much looking forward to seeing your daughter entire ensemble, Lady D1!

Kathleen, I think your bodice came out very well, and I like the longer length, though you don't look "stubby" to me at all.  :D Bodices are tricky. At least I've always found this, and I never get it right the first or even third try. Tweaking almost always happens until you get the right formula down.

Lady Kathleen, as always your things are beautiful. What a great character to bring to life.

Gem, once again my hat's off to you. Really well done. Your husband makes an excellent Gimli and your garb really gives his character depth. Love to meet this fellow.  :)
