So, it looks like we may be camping Roman weekend and attending faire that saturday.  Also, the boy & I will be there on the day after turkey day with various portions of my family.  I'm sure my 17 yo niece will be at my side the whole time since I'm the cool aunt who dresses up, totally understands the obsession (I started it), and won't be leaving after 2-3 hours.

Wife, mother in law, and myself are coming up on closing weekend.  Who wants to initiate a newbie (first year here) to TRF?

We won't be camping- but you are welcome to join the family and hang out with us. We're driving up from Oak Forest so ETA is 8:00am Friday of Closing. We usually end up on the row with the costume/stroller rental booth that is outside the gates. There will be 4 of us.

I'm glad you'll have them for AHE, though, because my renlet has been looking forward to seeing them again!  She still marvels at a family with 5 kids, and she wishes she had someone here to play with all the time...   

Wish I could get a free weekend to come down there and have a little grown-up time...
