Hi guys! Here's my first relevant project in a long time...

Dunno how well the hat goes with it all, but I do so love that hat. =)

Lady Rebecca

I like that a lot! Did you do a hook and eye closure?

And I think the hat goes just fine - matches the belt!

Lady Rebecca

So as a last minute costume for Mickey's Not So Scary yesterday, I took the underskirt from my old Queen of Hearts costume, the bodice I just made for the show I was in, my pirate chemise, and I took a few hours to make a bustled overskirt, which you can see most of here.

Yay thank you! =D Nope, I borrowed the ribbon method from Festive Attyre ( http://www.festiveattyre.com/research/workdiary/images/lacing.jpg ) and it works SO beautifully.

I LOVE your costume, very fun =D Is your underskirt one awesome print or did you have to piece it together? (If it's one fabric I need to find some, because IT IS AWESOME.)

Kate XXXXXX

It goes perfectly!

Nice outfit all round.   :)

Anna Iram

That looks like fun Rebecca. Did you work the event or did you go as a guest?

Sev, really like your gown. I just love this sort of simple style. I'm curious about the skirts. Is that one skirt overlaying the other?

Sev

Thank you, Anna! And sort of... I do tend to layer skirts for warmth and poof, but the grey peeking out from under the green is actually my cloak! I hide it under there when it's not cold enough for me to have to wear it normally. =D
