Ok, I need some help.

The more it settles in that I'm going to miss AHE, the more its starting to really suck.
There are a lot of people that will be there that this is the only time I get to see them every year.
To a lot of people, its whatever. But these people are like family to me.
I've been looking forward to doing the chainmail show this weekend for nearly a year.

I could give you a thousands reasons but then it would be like rambling on a soapbox.
And I hate doing this because so many people have and continue to take care of me without ever asking for anything in return.
So I'm trying to be as humble as possible about this without coming across as greedy or needy.

The only thing standing between me and getting to TRF next weekend is a ride/gas money.

If anyone knows of anyone heading down later on Thursday night/Friday during the day that will be returning back to the DFW area Sunday night or very early Monday morning that has room for a poor college kid, please message me. I don't have much in the way of money but I can help drive, I will help you set up your tent, and I'll introduce you to a lot of crazy awesome people.

Or if you're willing to throw a few bucks my way to at least get me down there, I have people that said they would make sure I had enough gas to get home.

Hubby and I are leaving Friday after work (not earlier than 6ish) from Coppell/Lewisville area and returning on Sunday. We will probably leave around 2 PM Sunday to head back. We aren't camping - but can probably get you there if you want to camp. I do smoke though, so if that doesn't work for you, we totally understand! I will PM you my cell phone #.

Original plans call for our Prodigal Daughter to go with us but she may not be able to get off work now. If she doesn't make it, we reserved a hotel room with a sofa bed if you need it.

I am overwhelmed by the sheer generosity of people, I will have enough to get to faire and multiple people have offered to help with the gas to get home.

I'm bring my tent and intend on sleeping there, very cozy and warm by my own big self. 

I'm still waiting to hear if someone can cover my Thursday shift. If they can, I should get in by 10 PM.
If they don't, it'll be oh...probably 1 AM when I get in. >_<
