I am pleased to announce that Peter S. Beagle, author of the beloved novel The Last Unicorn, will be making an appearance as our guest booksigner @ Creative Life Booksellers, Booth #157, on Nov. 13/14. Mr. Beagle is a Hugo and Nebula award winner (the Oscar & Golden Globe for scifi/fantasy) and is the author of numerous novels, short stories, and screenplays. He is considered to be the gold standard in American fantasy by many of his fellow authors & is often ranked with Tolkein & C. S. Lewis.

Please join us & make Mr. Beagle welcome in our own little corner of fantasy that is faire.

Mr. Beagle was the guest of honor at ApolloCon a few years ago, (maybe 2006)
Not many know that he wrote a popular episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, titled "Sarek", and the screenplay for the 1978 Ralph Bakshi animated version of The Lord of the Rings.
He's a really nice fellow, I hope to see him at faire.

The Pink Pirate and I got to meet him last year at Scarby and chat with him for a while.  He is a wonderful guy.  We bought extra copies of his book and gave them as mommy/ daughter gifts to my sIL's and nieces.  Best gifts we could have given them.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Will you have copies of the book for sale or should we pick one up beforehand?
(If you will have copies, hold one back for me... I will definitely be there)

*Maybe even get 'em to sign my rum bottle... for no reason... just because lol*
*Got more Rum?* "Here, Try This!"

Ravic, is there any way we can order a copy and have it signed?  I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to be there in person, but I won't be able to that weekend.  I hate that I'm going to miss him, again (I wasn't able to go to Scarby when he was there, either  :'( )

When we bought books last time they ran out of them.  But his manager worked it out so that for an extra 5 bucks they shipped them to us and signed the way we wanted them.  Granted that was because they ran out.

Bumping this back up. This is generating lots of back channel comments.
