Castelo de Belver is a Portuguese castle in Gavião, Portalegre.

In 1194, Sancho the king, donated the Prior of the Order of the Hospitallers , Don Afonso Pais, some land along the Tagus line, there to build a castle. It was called by the monarch Belver.

Teleki Castle is located in the village of Satulung, Romania.

The castle is documented as Pribylfalva in 1405, and held as the Chioar domain of the Dragffy family. In the mid seventeenth century, the castle was given to Prince Mihai Teleki Apaffy. At that time, the castle was renamed and the exterior of the main keep was altered radically.

Eden Castle is a castle near Banff in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

The castle was built in the latter half of the 16th century by the Meldrum family. As a side note, this is one of the few places in Scotland where 'streetview' is available on Google Earth. You can get some sense of what it is like to drive past.

Kasteel Bossenstein is just north of Broechem, Belgium.

"Castle Bossenstein" was also called "Halmaleshof" or "Allemanshof. Thisis a Water Castle with substantially rectangular floor plan and expansion west of dungeon, square buildings built around courtyard. First mention is in 1346 as the property of John Busco or den Bossche, hence the name "Bossenstein".

Gamizgrad is a town, fortress, spa and archeological site located in Serbia.

The 'Grad' in Gamzigrad refers to its origins as an late Imperial Roman fortress called Felix Romuliana, built by Emperor Galerius in 298 AD.

Muran Castle is a ruin of a medieval castle situated above the village of Muran, in Slovakia.

The castle is noteworthy for its unusually high altitude of 935 m. It also figures in several romantic legends about its remarkable owners. Murá? Castle was built in the 13th century on a cliff overlooking a regional trade route. Its name is mentioned for the first time in 1271.

Castillo de Davalillo is located on a hill on the banks of the Ebro River to 5 km from the town of San Asensio in La Rioja, Spain.

It was probably built during the reign of Alfonso VIII between the late twelfth century and early thirteenth century. In 1389 it belonged to Manrique.  In the testament of Pedro Manrique de Lara in 1440 , he left her son, Diego Martín Manrique (first count of Treviño) the possession of castles and Bilibio Davalillo.

I just love the name of this one.
Château de Billy is a ruined 13th – 14th century castle in the town of Billy in the Allier département of France.

Château de Chouvigny is a castle at Chouvigny in the Sioule valley in the Allier département of France.
