Fairly new to Renfaire .. as in this will be my THIRD ...  Bunnyfur has broken me in at TRF but I want to come up for closing weekend and wonder about where is a good place to set up a tent and stay for the weekend ... any pointers would be greatly appreciated  .... Thanks in Advance

I always recommend the southern most end of the camp ground, but thats my biased opinion because thats where we camp (o:

If you do a search on this site for "camping" (or scroll back about a year or two) there are some really good topics on camping at TRF.  MPullen started a camping tips thread that was full of great info concerning the different areas of the camp grounds as well as things to remember to bring with you.

If you're by yourself I recommend highly shacking up with one of the groups from the forum here.  There is McLotofus, Phoenix and my group Procrastination.  All of our camps are relatively close to each other and as the old saying goes, "Safety in numbers".  Our group is always happy to host guests of the RF forum and are probably the tamer of the three groups.

But where ever you choose to set up your tent be sure to come by and introduce yourself - Just look for our flag in the Row 0 area.

Bunnifer camps with us at Phoenix Risen for the most part and any friend of hers is definitely a friend of the clan
We are at Row 0... easy to find.
Ask Bunnifer for my number and how to find us and we will try to squeeze ya in.

I don't know what KP means by saying we aren't tame. Totally tame. Nothing ever happens at our camp... that can be proven later. Usually

I was up for the Scotish weekend and Bunnyfer showed me around , introduced me to way to many to keep track of ..  I think they are putting something in the beer and thats my story and sticking to it ...  I'll be sure to look both groups up ..  BF is loaning me her two man popup tent and i'll be hitting the camp early afternoon on Thursday...

See... I toldja we'd find a place for you!  I camp with Phoenix Risen, also, and as Teach said, any friend of BunnyFur's is always welcome!  KP is right, also, in that our end of the campground is generally more secure, and not as crazy as the the main areas, so it's a good place to have as your base, so you can venture out into the chaos, and then escape it when you've had enough...    You'll like us, also!  We're all pretty decent folks.

every time i talk to BF she changes the time of her arrival ..  it started possibly sunday..  then Saterday... the last was Friday evening...  again POSSIBLY...lol... 

Have most of my stuff packed..  knowing i'll forget an important something ...  btw... am in the market for a KILT .. so if anybody has any suggestions where to shop at faire it would be appreciated
