My rates are $79 for the first night and $95 for the next 3... very reasonable.

Personal Notes

Super 8 is a basic hotel by judging the very small lobby
Fast food: McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King,  Wendy's.  An ok Bar BQ, a decent but $$ Mexican restaurant.

The Best Western has a very nice lobby,  next door to Bubbles discount liquor,
IHOP is right there also, not that it's needed w/hot breakfast at hotel
Days Inn  and Comfort Inn are right here as well.
Rock Yard Brewery www.rockyard.com is a block away (I'm working on Meet N Greet here for Friday evening)
Fast food: Arby's
Across the way is McDonalds, Chilli's, Black Eyed Pea, Lowes store, Outlet Shops
A bit further is Applebees, Chik Filet, Star Bucks, many various other places
Walmart, Kohls, Petsmart, Target, King Supers, GNC, Walgreens, Home Depot - it's all here

Further North in the DTC (Denver Tech Center) Business area has plenty of hotels:

  For those driving looking for camping, Jellystone RV Camp, has teepees, cabins, RV slots, Tent spots.
  It is the closest accomodations to Faire with out sleeping in the thicket outsire of faire.

Since my dad is staying at the Comfort Suites... I too will be staying there!

I called today to reserve my rooms... Jason was most helpful.
They are giving 20% off for faire goers.

My rates are $79 for the first night and $95 for the next 3... very reasonable.

We will arrive in Denver on June 30... make the meet and greet on Friday.... spend 2 days at the faire... come home on the 4th.

Can't wait to meet some CRFers !

CAR RENTAL INFO:

I rented a full size car out of Denver International from AVIS... I checked prices on all the car rentals there with at least a 3-star customer service rating...

Chevy Impala or similar for $125.28 Total for Thursday through Monday.
If you pick it up later than you return it...ie we are licking it up on June 30 at 1:30pm and returning it July 4th at NOON.... they only charge for 3 days! Pre-pay to get the additional discount which brought the total to $125.28 .... very reasonable for a full size car for 4 days.

The actual car was only $83.96 ... the rest was tax and surcharges.

I finally looked at a map and we are in the same area - the Bubbles liquor store is practically outside our front door.  The Rockyard is within walking (staggering) distance for all - huzzah!!
