Sooooo...She took a tumble and now some of the inner workings have brokens the adjustment piece for her height. I currently have the small size My double deluxe dress form by dritz. I emailed the company and got an immediate answer saying I may not get an answer for 2 weeks!

-Does anyone know if there is a way to get it repaired?
-Do they sell parts so I can repair it?

If I have to replace her should I...

-buy the size medium for commissions and swap out the part so mine small can be tall like me and the medium will be stuck shorter?
-replace the small and have a funeral for her
-try to sell the small to someone short and tiny? use the money to help me replace it
-buy a totally different form and say screw you dritz for making a form that snaps the first time it takes a tumble and then putting it on a not stable base.

If I should buy a totally different form...suggestions? I need it to be as way adjustable as possible cuz I'm constantly sewing for tons of different body types. Also it needs to get as tall as I am (6ft).

Basically I'm panicking and lost...my baby just broke her leg :(

Pretty. Odd.

Can you still move the dressform up and down? If you go to the hardware store and get a clamp or maybe a ring clamp you can attach that to the dressform pole and have the form sit on top of it?

My uniquely you form came with a plastic ring that eventually died on me, so I use a clamp now to keep it at the correct height and have some other heights marked on the pole with a sharpie.

it has two poles...the center one maxes out at its shoulder at my bust...theres a second pole off center that gets tall enough and thats the one that had the adjustment piece break...I dont know if that ring clamp idea would work for mine but I'll take a look and see if thats something that will work.
