just a note, we have no fire wood at the castle. now because of the ash borer ban anyone wanting to bring wood will need to check their own local laws. safe to say though, that if you are from the general cincy area you are safe bringing in wood.

Looks like that stash of wood (small boards and wooden wedges) that I have at work will come in handy then. However, with all the things going on right now, I don't know how soon I will be able to bring the wood down.

Just found out today that I have to work the next two Saturdays so our trip to the castle is now canceled unless work this weekend is canceled, F#*%.

'teers are dropping like flies. not sure what that means exactly cuz i have never seen a fly drop. but it seems appropriate.

the national weather service is calling for sunny and 46 saturday. which means in general (and in particularly at the castle) it will be somewhat warmer, my personal guess .... 50. BUT, 40% chance for light shower in the evening....who knows

i for one am not concerned with the weather.

A "Castleteers" Gather'n

Eleventh is quite a number,
And do not think it will slumber,
And in a few short days,
We will all drive through a maze,
To get to our "Castle",
We hope with no hassle,
That which started from a handful,
Eighty plus now and food is bountiful,
All benefit the more to show,
And with the "Castle" all aglow,
Hugs and hello's will be well spent,
From our good "Captain" the "Castle" he has lent,
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be gone in no time,
so those greetings me's will hold and with that drink may I have a little lime?

I just found a place that will deliver firewood to the castle.  We can get a stack of wood 4' high by 10' long delivered for  $140.00   (I don't buy firewood, is that a reasonable price?)

If some people can commit help me pay for this, I can front the money to have it delivered before Saturday and then they can pay me at the castle.
