Hobby Lobby Paper Parasols

I was in Hobby Lobby today and some of their paper parasols are on sale.

They have wooden handles and spokes.  The paper is the heavy, waxy paper. The regular price is $5.99.  They are 40% off.  They are in the party section.  Called the Bright Ideas Collection.  The colors are orange, yellow, purple, blue, green, and hot pink.

Now here's the kicker.  They have the same umbrellas in red and in white but they are not on sale.  They are considered the Spring Collection and are in a different part of the store than the Bright Ideas Collection.  I asked about this since they were the same and was told nope, they may be the same but the collections are different and one is on sale and one isn't.

So if you can use one of the colors in the Bright Ideas Collection, the parasol will cost you $3.60.

Man!  I was JUST THERE today!  I needed to replace my Simplicity 4059, and the patterns were $1.99.  Walked in, got the pattern, and walked out!  I certainly would have gotten one of those parasols!

Ooh thanks for the update! I've been hunting down their white ones for weeks... I have to paint a lot of Kaylee-type parasols so 40% off really cuts down on the overhead. w00t.

They only had a few left at my store.  I did get a blue one though and want to paint white seahorses along the edge.

 I'll swing by the Hobby Lobby here in Omaha.  They sometimes run the same specials.
