Going offline for a few days!

I have to devote a lot of time to studying for my math final that's on Wednesday, May 11. Soooooo, in order to do that, I basically have to throw my computer out of my window! lol...

But in all seriousness, this math final means a lot to me. I've been in community college classes since 2002 (when I graduated high school) and due to me taking part time classes a lot of the time among a lot of other events, I didn't exactly "breeze" on through there. Math is THE ONLY THING holding me back from transferring to a 4 year university. If I pass the final exam, I am able to transfer to a 4 year university. It really messes with your head when you are working your tail off, only to fail it at the very last stand: try doing that for the past 3 years. I called it "Math Purgatory" because that is exactly how I have felt. Something is wrong if you are in a college class and you see your former students in the class with you... So yeah... lol...If all goes well, I hope to never have to step foot back into a community college class. Not that there is anything wrong with a community college setting-in fact, I'm glad I went to community college first. But I know I can't stay there forever, nor did I ever plan to.

I ask that you please keep me in your thoughts and prayers in the days up to May 11. I'm really going to need them. And if you're not the praying type, which is cool also, all well-wishes and feel-good vibes are most defnitely welcome too!

Sending good Math Vibes your way! It took my daughter 3 times to pass college algebra and I think the only reason she passed it was that I made her take a summer course at 7:30 AM and told her to sit up front and look perky.

Okay, I have an update!

The math final kicked my butt, but I was able to pass it! Today, I find out whether I passed the actual course or not. My teacher said I was doing fine in the class, so it should be a passing grade, but you never know so it's always nice to check. So my fingers are still crossed but the stress is definitely gone!

I want to thank you all for your well-wishes and support last week. It really meant a lot to me You guys are wonderful.
