Terrible customer service with Trim company

Right now I'm furious with JKM Ribbon & Trim.  I had heard wonderful things from people on here and other costume/garb  groups  because they have an amazing selection and good prices.  This is why when I needed to get  some trim in bulk for a project  I went to them.  We ordered our trim, and even paid for their "expedited service" to get it to us as soon as possible.  Turns out "ASAP" to them was 4 weeks and 4 days!   When I went to their customer service about this issue they said the items was NOT back ordered. They just don't want to ship often!   They said the only way they will guarantee that we get out items with in a WEEK of ordering is by ordering $150 + shipping of product from them.   And only if we pay the extra expedited fee.
As I work customer service I was polite in my correspondences but this is getting me seriously frustrated!  When you call their customer service number they tell you "Please email us because we don't want to talk to you in person."  That does not bode well. 
I would NOT recommend going to them for anything.  Going forward I'm going to look else where, and even pay more on shipping in order to get the item I want if it means I do not have to deal with them ever again.
I wanted this trim for the PP's new doublet but when you order something at the start of the faire you would think you would have it before the end of faire!

I have had very good Customer service from www.pillagedvillage.com for ribbon trims, buttons, and other garb needs, as well as www.cheeptrims.com for Needle and Venise laces. I get my orders within a week of ordering. PV has some of the nicest trims I have ever used. Much of the garb I have posted has trims from them. I make sure I order enough to get the Business discount.

Which reminds me, I need to make orders to both places soon. I like to order a specific trim in 30 to 50 yard increments because I use that particular trim a lot. Check Pillaged Village out. If there is a trim that may be in short supply, THEY call you! That's Customer Service!!

I highly recommend Pillaged Village as well. I have bought trims, buttons, shoes, and snoods from them, always to great success. Their trims are lovely, very reasonably priced, and their customer service is excellent, too.

did you pay by credit card??

If so I would call your credit card company and have them reverse the charge to your account.
Also email the trim company and let them know that this email is your official correspondence that you are cancelling the order and having the payment reversed.

If they are so indignant about talking to you and doing their job they obviously don't need the business and won't have issues with you cancelling it.
Don't wait any longer, you will run out of time to make a claim on your cc.
I know you probably really want that trim but at this point the best you can hope for is to get your money back.

4 weeks- sheesh, I get stuff from China in 10 days.

I am canceling the order as i type.  We are also filing complaints with the powers that be about it.
I found it on another site, for get this,  50 cents a yard! AND I got a 20% Off coupon!  With shipping, it still will cost $2 less that what I paid for the whole spool at the bulk place with out shipping.  And worst case I would get it in 8 days!

Belive it or not it was simplicity.com.   Since it was Wrights trim they had it in stock on their site, and you can buy it by the full yard.  I was surprised but hey I'm not going to argue.
