Behold the CANDWICH.

The Candwich, the sandwich in a can, the stuff of viral dreams (or nightmares), is finally for sale. Only the peanut butter and grape jelly variety is available (BBQ Chicken and peanut butter and strawberry jelly are coming soon), and it'll set you back $12 for a 4-pack or $72 for a 24-pack (US shipping included).

According to the website, the Candwich "is the perfect product for people on the go such as students, construction workers, soccer moms and outdoor enthusiasts." It does not require refrigeration and has a long shelf life, and as such it is "perfect for emergency food storage needs in the event of natural disasters." Also, it is "great tasting."

It makes me both curious and sickened at the same time. lol

Scary...honestly I'd rather do what I always do.  Make food ahead of time, put it in vacum sealed bags and freeze them to boil when ready to eat.

That's like those Heater Meals.

I do a lot of emergency prep conferences and asked the guy once what they tasted like.  He said they were OK, but if that's the only food you have then it tastes a lot better! ;D

I saw beer in a can the other day -  ???
Yuck! If it must be individually packaged, it should be in glass.
