Don't you hate it when that happens? Hey, I have had little old women try and sneak up behind me and try to get a peek up my kilt. It's the damnedest thing. I don't mind the peep show, but at least give me fair warning.

Besides, I was always given the impression that a PROPER kilt-check wasn't performed with the eyes...

Yeah... I can go to the sauna at the Y for that.    I would rather not walk around with my pores open ALL the time, thanks!  LOL  We have our share of nasty humidity up here, also, but nothing like down there...  I like the high desert of the Rockies, although it comes with it's own problems.  Just staying hydrated there is a full time job.  Most people just carry a water bottle around with them everywhere, and refill it several times a day without even thinking about it.  


Believe me, though, I would live down there right now if I thought I could deal with the heat/humidity.  I consider TRF to be my "home Faire", just because it really is where I feel most at home... but it's the people who make it that, and not the Faire, itself.  I miss all of you, every day...

And now I'm all homesick...  Thanks a lot, Fraser!!!    

As much as I hate to hear "It's not the heat, it's the humidity", it's so true. It feels like an armpit here a lot of the time. lol...

I hate that ugly feeling after it rains in the summer and then the sun comes out...all with a high of 99. Oh my goodness, that's an awful feeling!

Sooo... today, I am garbing... an Efrit.  I have finally finished the costume portion, and now I'm starting on my make-up... by the time I'm done, I am hoping to at least appear to be... in flames.  Sort of... maybe...  If I do it right.  

NOT the way you guys envision Mouse in flames, however, so don't get your hopes up...
