Avast me hearties;
  I be looking for more pirate inspiration and I would like to see others pirate garb.  So post your pics here and let us see your inner pirate unleashed!

Here's my boyfriend and I at a faire in Kansas a few weeks ago. This was his very first time in garb! He's still trying to find his character. He loves his staff and originally wanted to be more wizardly looking, but he went for a pirate look in the end. He needs some accessories, like a pouch and he wants a sword, but I think for his first time in garb, he did a good job :).

I had just finished my goggles and wanted to wear my steampunk outfit, but since this was his first time dressing up, he wanted me to match him, so I compromised and wore my goggles with my pirate outfit. I may have created a monster though, all he talks about is what to add to his garb!

Why do I feel like I've worn something like this before?

A recent picture of my wife (Lady Blossom) and me (Captain Kindle Burns) displaying our inner pirate. The coat and vest were made by the incredibly talented Lady Kathleen of Olmsted.

I don't have an online pic of my new pirate.
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Great work Lady L! They are both very cute in their pirate garb. I especially like the facial expression on this young lass! It's a perfect pirate face!!! Awesome!

Still adding to it.  I just picked up a blunderbust that I have to create a holster for on the back of the baldric.

Why can't reality be more like faire?

Here is Captain Jean Flamino, the Pink Pirate and his companion Quizzik.  the photo was taken by Stalkwell, but I made everything but the drabbit, hat and boots.  He has another surcoat style pirate coat, but I don't have any pictures of him in it yet.

It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.
