Speaking of "early to cannon," are there any plans for a pre-cannon gathering? What is an appropriate time to show up at the parking area?

We are always early , so it may be a party of 2  . 8:30 ish

Actually, we are taking an extended trip to CO that starts in 10 days...cheers!

We, too, make an extended trip, but the week after.

Gen and I hope to make the meet and greet, and also to be out early both mornings...can't wait to meet friends, old and new!!

after a sort of meet and greet last weekend at Chippewa - do you think we could come up with a way to know who is who, since we are out of 'chatacter"?  M'Lady suggested wearing our hats or something.

I talked with a couple people last weekend that took a bit to then go - "oh, now I know who you are!"

I wore different garb than usual opening day ... and so many people didn't recognize me.  And we were still at faire.

Perhaps we can make blank pins so that everyone can write their names on and wear them during RenDezvous for better identification?
Can we put something like that together?
Pass them out at Meet N Greet and Saturday morning?
I beleive that was done at past RenDezvous'.

Or you could take the "Being John Malkovich" route, where everyone could write a different name on their tags -  "Being (insert name)".
"Will the real (insert name), please Ren Up........ this mess"?

Just adding confirmation that at least at Maryland and Scarborough for the past 2 Rendezvous, there were name tags. Unobtrusive ones, more like favors with a name on them to help identify each other. Picked up at meet and greet, morning tailgate or some central location - and worn prominently so we could see them on each other.

On a side note: I need to find me a pewter pin company to make me a Lady Kett & Sidekick pin...
