This thread has become an INSTITUTION (because we all know we're crazy)... and I think it even deserves to be stickied!  Since, y'know, it IS the #4 most posted in thread on the whole forum (and the 10th most viewed)!!!

Makes sense ... but honestly, this thread is never far from the top of the page anyway.    ;)

Every time I log on I have like 3 pages to read lately. It's my stupid jobs fault all these hours are sucking up my leisure time BUT all this xtra money is going to facilitate my faire going so I guess I shouldn't complain. Lol

bah, get a sugar-daddy and retire to a life of pampered luxury. That way, you'll never fall behind again :D

Unfortunately, that usually only lasts as long as the "sweet young thing" looks hold out... and it doesn't generally come with much of a retirement program.  Besides, that seldom works for women who have kids, unless they are willing to put "sugar-daddy" first... because a man who's basically paying for your company sure isn't going to be very understanding when your kid is sick.  Besides, there's a word for women like that...  :o  :P

Haha of course your right which I why I work a full time job and a part time job  and go to school full time.

Of course if a great guy wanted to date me and happened to be loaded well that's just icing on the cake.

Wealth is totally not a requirement obviously.

That's a lot... how would you even find time to date and still spend time with your little one?

Haha you nailed it. I don't date or rather I haven't in quite some time.
But my baby is with me at my part time job so I spend a lot of time with him.

If I met someone that was seriously interested though is probably quit my part time job because I don't NEED it I just like the extra money.

That kind of interest takes me a really long time to develop, and I won't trust anyone around my daughter until they show they're not only a good person, but also not going to let her get attached and then take off at the first rough patch.  She doesn't need that, and I don't understand women who introduce their kids right away... or even within the first 6 months.

I'm enjoying getting to stay up late and watch movies with my renlet, though... and we're going to watch TRON (the original) tonight, since we watched the sequel night before last...  :D

hey, I had a sugar-daddy, what are you saying, huh? ;)

And did you get a retirement fund out of it?  No?  Do you have a college fund for your daughter paid for by this shadowy figure from your misspent youth?!?  Yeah... I thought not.  No longer have those "sweet young thing" looks, either, do you?  ;)

So... where's your sugar-daddy, now, huh?  :P  :D

Breandan

well, now I have become my own sugar-daddy, and I must have some of those looks left considering both of the lasses in my life are in their early-to-mid 20s :D

Speaking of college funds, I am coming to the conclusion that I will be permanently stuck in Iraq or A-stan if I am going to pay for all of our children's educations. So, since that's not an option, I figure child labour works :D

Hon, don't you realize that it doesn't matter WHAT the sugar-daddy looks like, as long as he's the one paying the bills?  :P  :D  (hey, YOU went there first, not me)

And, uhhh... how many kids do you have?  I was only aware of Fionna... unless, of course, there's been an "official" announcement recently that I missed?

Oh, and since you have to spend several years feeding, clothing and (by law) educating them, by the time they're big enough to get them to do any sort of labor at all, you'll already have bankrupted yourself several times over, so that one doesn't really pay anymore... since we've moved away from an agrarian society, anyway.  ;)

Oh, gods... why am I STILL awake?!?  I need sleep!!!  GOOD sleep...

I just know that as soon as I really drift off, and settle into an interesting dream, that damn car alarm is going to go off and wake me up...

I would really like to finish at least one of the dreams I've been having recently.  They really have been interesting!  Strange one this morning with an odd, quick passing instance involving a VW Bug that had some sort of holographic projection effect instead of a paint job, with falling crystal snowflakes on a white background, fading into blue, then red, near the bottom.  But it wasn't even a coherent part of the dream... just a passing element in a scene I can't otherwise remember.  Weird... but interesting.  :D
