Let The Countdown Begin!

We saw a neat 2 room shower tent, where the other room could be used as a restroom, so we're even thinking of getting a small travel toilet. It's up in the air, though.

Well, if they keep the porta-privies the way they were last year, then they were fine, particularly down at the end where we were.  They're right on the corner of where we camp, also, so they're only 30-50 feet from just about anywhere in our area, and there are usually around 5 of them, I believe.

When it is really cold it is nice to have one right there beside your tent, so in the middle of the night you only have to go a couple of steps.

True... it's not much fun trying not to freeze to death on the way to the privie, and make sure you don't drop the corner of your blanket down in there, while hoping you're not actually going to be frozen to the seat when you try to stand up! 

Of course, if I didn't live 500 miles away, and have to pack everything I bring into the back of my mini-van, then I'd at least try to bring all the comforts of home.  As it is, I'm going to be pretty hard pressed to find the extra 3 sq ft I'll probably need for our new tent...    heheh

You should see our Durango, it is absolutly stuffed.  It really does feel like you are moving your whole house, but it is so worth it to be comfortable.

Well, at least you're only coming from a few miles away, and you can actually run home for anything you realize you've forgotten... and be back within about 45 minutes!      

Hell... I'd probably make two trips, and just bring EVERYTHING!!!      Might even run home for a quick shower after Faire, then come back and party all night.
