the wild west adventures are now being repeated  in remote areas of Afghanistan ( just automatic weapons and bomb vests in stead of repeaters and sticks of dynamite

Dynamite is used in the South as an effective means of fishing.  Light a stick and drop it off the boat.  The concussion from the explosion will either kill or knock out any fish near it and they float to the top.  Time for harvest!

Drought has caused many problems in Texas and is expected to be worse next year.

Windmills are being used in parts of Texas to generate electricity.

Electricity seems to get more expensive every year. I guess we need to find more ways to conserve.

Conserve water also--it is very scarce in many areas.
