My family and myself will be camping out Thanksgiving weekend (Thurs-Sun).  One of these years I'll actually meet some of you guys

probably camping with a group sometime in November, haven't decided yet. Maybe Barbarian weekend again (me likey the cooler weather)

I'll be camping opening weekend with Clan MacGiggle, and we're usually right beside the Motleigh, but I've no idea what row we're on... just that there are porta-privvy's right across the way from us and we're not too far from the Quickmart.

There's probably going to be 15-20 of us, I think.

Opening Saturday for sure........as sure as anything is in this dynamic world, then another Saturday after that, and maybe a Saturday or Sunday as well.

It will be just me, just day tripping from the time capsule.

My advice is to camp with a clan. Its a lot safer and a heck of a lot more fun if you know the people camping next to you.

I agree with what you say. I just don't know any one with a clan. Shire I have partied with people in the biking camp but don't know them well enough.

Nov 24-26 - Day TBD for Celtic Christmas - all

Robert, Dione and Elizabeth are happy campers now!  We are still going to try to camp for All Hallows.

Please Sir Edward, come join us at the PR's campsite on Highland Weekend. At this time still don't know whether we'll be camping with PR or family campsite. If the "The DON" comes (he'll be 10 months) we'll have to camp at the family campsite.

Sir Edward, both of those invitations come from the same camp.  PR is Phoenix Risen, and we are all an extraordinarily friendly lot, so you will be in very good company (even though I, myself, will be unable to attend that weekend)!  We're always camped in the newer cleared area on the other side of row 0... around -2, -3, I believe.  There is a map that shows the location on the first page of this thread, so if you go take a look you'll find us! 


Lady M... from everything I've heard, the campground around PR is usually quieter than Family Camping, considering the train roars through there more than once a night!  My Scally has never has any trouble sleeping there, and it's always been very family friendly.  My girl is spoiled rotten by everyone in camp, and she would happily just LIVE there if everyone else would stay, as well!  LOL

I can also say that Phoenix Risen is a great bunch of people. I've known Teach and the Lovely Lady Trinn for some years now. You couldn't wish for a more friendly or generous bunch. Sadly, we don't camp since our daughter lives fairly close.
