I had a scent made for me years ago with base notes of rose and vanilla and a few other oils thrown in for good measure. I only wear it to faire and it immediately transports me to there when I come upon it tucked away with my garb.

I would have to say the cent of hay and sometimes fire reminds me of faire. Also, certain incense smells reminds me of faire as well.

I bought some scented oil AT faire to take home with me.

I keep it at my desk at work.  In the middle of winter - or anytime it's not faire season - I take the bottle, open it, give a good sniff or 2, put a dab on my neck, and even though I'm working, I have the smell of faire surrounding me.

Sweat covered with patchouli, Turkey leg roasters, deep fryers cooking battered "X" on a stick, urinal cakes and privies that  should have been sucked out 8 hours earlier.

That pine needles smell, reminds me of TRF....
Normal? What's that?

The perfume I wear every day is Moroccan Spice from Majikah. It is a half&half blend of their Red Egyptian Musk and French Vanilla. I can't get it anywhere else because for some reason no one else's Red Egyptian Musk has the same nutmegy spicy smell. So I think of Scarborough every morning!
