Countdown to Sherwood Forest Faire 2012

Someone asked for tidbits. Hmmm, let's see. Knights of Mayhem will use solid Hemlock lances every show so come early in the season. I'm not sure we'll have a joust by week 6 cuz they'll all be in the hospital. We're adding a Maypole Dance so you'll want to join the inaugural season of that. Robin's Feast is an all you can eat and drink extravaganza. If you're camping, or have a designated driver, you might want to give that a go. VaNaMazi will be playing the full run. They are incredibly talented. Nationally ren-known Fool Hearty will be in Sherwood Forest to entertain the kiddos. Also check out Saxon Moon. They are a new band and wicked awesome. We will open the fairgrounds to Friends of Faire on the evenings of Friday March 16th, Friday March 23rd and closing day (night) Sunday April 1st. Plus all the entertainers, cast, artisans, and merchants you've met on your travels in our first 2 seasons. Ok, post too long. Stopping now. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all y'all.

Long posts are okay, Antioch. Taking time to read them only takes us closer to Opening Cannon, which is scheduled to occur in 49 days, 1 hour, 10 minutes, 47 seconds!

We will most definitely be getting our FOF passes.  I will most likely not get to attend this year due to work travel but in the unlikely chance I'll get to attend at least one weekend, I will have my pass.

I ordered my tickets for the feast just the other day!  Oh and I don't know if this has been posted anywhere but Opening weekend tickets are on sales for $8 per ticket!

Still trying to decide if things will be good enough that I can go more than one day.... Money is VERY tight.... and I was planning to buy the pass so I can go more than one weekend...but now it is looking like I may not be able to go more than one weekend due to funds... UGGHHH Slightly bummed about this... if I could just find a buyer for the old house!!!!  Cat

Also, finally got off my lazy butt and ordered our FoF tickets for the year. I really like the bonuses that come with them each year!
