for what its worth here is what the ole Farmers almanc says for the openning weekend Feb 9-13: Snow showers, then sunny, cold north; rainy periods, mild south; Feb 14-19: Sunny, cool; Feb 20-25: Rain, then sunny, warm; Feb 26-29: Snow showers north, sprinkles south; cold.  Think I'll pack me long johns just in case.

Cleaned up Homer, the Odyssey, in preparation for the trip...
...he's also had his 20k mile checkup.
Garb bin is being packed tonight
Assembly point and time for group has been established and announced
Rooms are reserved
Reservations for the dogs at the spa have been made
Local bank has been robbed so that we have travel and spending money

started pulling out the garb for the PP including his new "warm weather" outfit. I have a feeling he will be wearing his 'stolen couch' most of the weekend.  Fuzzlet has 2 outfits done, but her Pink Pirate needs some final hand sewing on it.  One of her outfits is her pirate's treasure bunting bag. She will be nice and toasty warm.  As for me, I need to see what all I have that still fits!

Seeing the time left in hours really gets me excited now! If I'm not careful, I'm going to poof into a bird again and fly off.. and Alex hates having to lure me back with seed when I do, but I can't control it!

I am a young Druid after all.. I can't control my magicplosions all the time!

Truly wish we could be out there for opening weekend, but this little bundle of joy graced us with her presence on Saturday, and will be a few weeks yet before we are able to travel out there.
