Countdown to Sherwood Forest Faire 2012

I had those kind before. I finally told em "I know you love my work ethic, but stop trying to kill me." 

One time my boss came into my office with a project about 5 minutes before quitting time, saying it HAD to be done by morning.  I stayed till 2:30 AM finishing it up.  Next morning at 8AM, I walked it in to my bosses office, where it sat on the corner of the desk for 3 days...

Needless to say I no longer work there.
Now I am appreciated.

Justified, Keeper...totally justified. Worked at an architect/engineer firm once—draftsman—the boss came in with a project and handed it to one of my coworkers, giving him a week to complete it. As soon as the boss walks out, John goes back to reading his newspaper. On the 6th day (John had hardly touched the project), boss wants to know if it's ready, John complains that he didn't have enough time, so boss hands the project to me. The project is handed back completed the following day...on schedule.

I voiced a complaint to the boss, and he said, "We know what goes on. John's been here for 12 years, you've been here for less than 1, and you're already making more than he is." I didn't worry about it after that.  But good bosses are rare...

And that leaves us with 5 days, 3 hours, 31 minutes, and 20 seconds to go before cannon...

Today doesn't count cause it's past noon.
Friday doesn't count cause I don't have to work and I'll be packing and running around doing errands.
So I have 3 days until faire!!!

Haha! Well being almost 3pm now today certainly doesn't count! Shoot, after my test is finish, I'll be count 0 days cause my week will essentially be over and I'll be good for nothing other than waiting anxiously by the door with my bags

Friday seems so far away and so close all at the same time.
