Very spiffy - especially when you don't look like the picture got sat on by an elephant!   ;)

Very beautiful Donna.  I'll take some photo's if you like at Scarby if you wear it the weekend of Merlin's big event.  I love the colors.

Thank you,
I plan on wearing it for opening weekend. If the weather keeps up this alarming trend of unusual warmth, I won't be able to wear the heavy green velvet any later.

The reason it's warm here this year is due to the jet streams.  90% of the time, the Jet streams force the cold air from Canada down across the US and we get frozen.  This year, the jet streams decided to carry that cold air over to Europe and Asia.   Japan has had 11FT snow drifts and Dublin has just had the worst snow storm in 30 years.   Add to that that Venice was frozen and well, you can see exactly where our cold air is.

Probably this Spring -about another month, maybe two- the Jet streams will even back out and we'll have our "normal" weather again.   You'll be able to wear the green velvet.

Captain Teague is not the only one getting new clothes for this weekend.  I made myself something new as well.  Not quite as spiffy as his, but I like how it turned out.  I am a little more squishier than my mannequin so I hope it will look slightly better on me.  LOL

Well done, M'Lady!!!

Be patient wth yourself. Sewing skills come the more you work at it.

That looks Great Lady Gryphon! I hope you wear it Scarborough when you come. See you both soon..........Huzzah

Lady Gryphon

Thank you both:

Lady Kathleen:  It's hard to be patient when I'm looking at all these wonderful creations and wonder what I can do to make mine that much better.  I'm just like that

Yes Alerrick, I'll be wearing this the Scarborough weekend than I come.  Maybe even to Merlin's event.

Not a sewing project but it has to do with sewing and it is finished:

The sewing room before:

Huzzah to the clean up fairies!    I do that after every binge sewing season...  Just wish I could teach myself to keep it that way!
