So worried about friends far and near.  I don't really facebook.  If anyone knows anything one way or the other about Tinker and Belle and any of our faire friends in the affected areas could you post here?

amy

Thank you for checking on us!  Lucy and Courtney are fine as am I ... Haven't heard a check in from Tink & Belle yet.   Mixae had some damage I understand but she is ok.  Syrilla is here by me and she is ok too.   We had 3 touch down but all missed our house.  That is what I know about Louisville, Nashville, Huntsville area

Mobile AL is fine. I saw a snippet of a news report that said Toney AL had been hit by tornadoes.

So good to hear you are are well.  What a devastating weekend.

I can't believe it left Arkansas alone. I know of no damage in the state.

Yep.  Toney AL is a little county spot just a few miles north of me.  They were hit very hard April 2011 and many of the exact same homes which were demolished last year were affected again.  Luckily this year we aren't suffering with the 3-4 day power outages that plagued us last year.    But let me tell you it sure hits home when you run to the corner store and across the road is a Red Cross Station with blankets water and food stuffs for the victims.  Counting my blessings.

Really odd - lots of damage in S. Charlotte/near the North/South Carolina state line...but for the most part, those of us north of Charlotte (Lake Norman area) were largely unaffected.

I've seen Tink on FaceBook a lot lately. She's been posting some rather gorgeous photos that she's been shooting.

mehan

Thank you for that - and I am glad she is well.   I am still pretty worried though - we haven't heard from the other Tink - Tinker and his wife Belle - nor, have I noticed that there has been much posting from any of the loveland castle folks, whom I thought were all in that general area.   This is my payback, I guess, for segregating my faire life so much from my real one that I don't have mundane contacts.

So, still if anyone can help this old lady out - I am still hoping to get a nod that they are doing well and if not how I can help, I would appreciate it.

amy

I do know from other friends that there was some significant damage in the Loveland Castle and KYRF area.  But everyone that I am aware of in the rennie community has surfaced and I have not yet heard any scary stories of damage of losses.   I think it was all around but nothing too unbearable.   I'll ask around in some emails.

Mehan, I noticed Tink and Belle posting in the Castleteers' thread, so you might check in there.
