Rowen, I'd love to see the other trim patterns suggested. Any chance you could scan the page and post here?

   Sorry Anna,
Just got back to this thread.  I'll see if my wonky scanner will cooperate and get those on here.

   I will trim my gold forepart after I have it hemmed.

   I finished the overskirt (except trim and hemming) the day before classes started again this week.
   Using the Renaissance Taylor instructions-instead of MA's- I was able to do all the pleating in 3 hours (252 inches of pleats, thank you)  including sewing to the waist band and attaching the front hooks.  It looks great, and weighs about 30 lbs.
