Sholo is hospitalized

This is great news!  I kept thinking about how he pulled me on stage with him at Scarby this year and how much fun I had poking at him for his barbs.  I will admit I got pretty teary-eyed about it all.  He has always been so nice to me and my family and I enjoy his show.

I've spoken with Ellen this afternoon, Hilton will be on the respirator at least another 24 hours, and in ICU for another 24 after that, before going to a regular room. They've been told that it will be at least 5 days before he's released.
Ellen has been unable to work recently due to her own health issues, and their savings is being quickly depleted.  She has been sent the RESCU forms for assistance, but that won't take care of daily living expenses.

KP, good news... Sholo is off the respirator and is (obviously) breathing on his own, munching ice chips at last report.

Ellen's son Sebastion just posted to the Friends of Sholo group that there have been some complications and Hilton is facing surgery.  Please continue to pray, send good vibes, energies, etc.

Ellen's latest post to the FB group:
"We are on a holding pattern,,crisis has not passed, other areas need to stabilize before we can go forward. Please continue to say prayers and light candles. Thank you again..with deep appreciation , Ellen"

She is not yet able to share more specific information about what the crisis is, or what needs to be stabilized prior to whatever comes next because the doctors are not yet sure what the problem is.  When I spoke with her by phone on Sunday she was already on overload, and by that time he was awake and off the respirator, I can only imagine her emotional state right now.

This morning's news:
"Okay..here we go..he is leaving ICU today and going down to a regular room. He is really on the mend. The doctors are surprised and pleased. However any of us who really know him are not. He likes to keep everyone guess. My phone blew up..so i cannot call or text..sorry. I think it just got tired. I will make update again this evening...hugs to all."
