Doddendael Castle lies northeast of Ewijk in the Dutch province of Gelderland.

The Castle of Doddendael dates from 1332. Between 1580 and 1590 Doddendael played a role in the first phase of the Eighty Years War .

Debno Castle is located in the southern Polish village of Debno.

Bolczow Castle is located about 15 km from Jelenia Gora in Poland.

The Castle of Aljezur is a Portuguese castle founded in the parish of Aljezur, in the municipality of the same name overlooking the Aljezur River. Not much imagination there.

Excavations in the castle have discovered that the location was occupied during the Bronze and Iron Ages, while the parade grounds, habitational structures, and two silos date to the 12th and 13th centuries.

Harewood Castle is located on the Harewood Estate, Harewood, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

One of the castles named Karolyi is located in Carei in northwestern Romania.

The predecessor of today's structure was built in 1482 when Lancz Laszlo Karolyi was given permission by King Matthias to build a stone house. In 1592 during the wars with the Turks, the building was substantially changed. Then the rectangular stone building - which at this time filled the role of fortress, was given bastions, lowers, inner courtyard and outer defensive walls, deep water trenches, and is equipped with an external palisade.

Manasija, also known as Resava, is a castle enclosing an Orthodox monastery near Despotovac, Serbia.

The castle was built by Despot Stefan Lazarevi? between 1406 and 1418. He added the Monastery of Manasija to serve as his mausoleum; in its grandeur, his resting place surpassed everything ever built in the Pomoravlje.

Bzovík Castle is located in the village of Bzovik in the Krupina District of Slovakia.

In historical records, the castle was first mentioned in 1135 (Bozouk) when the noble Lampert of Hunt-Poznan founded a Cistercian abbey here, and fortified it against the Turks.

Ballumbie Castle is on the edge of Ballumbie, which is a residential area on the north-east edge of Dundee, Scotland.

The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland record the date of construction as 1545, although Historic Scotland give a date of 14th–15th century.

On a hill above the town of Konjice, Slovenia, and a little to the southwest are the ruins of Konjice Castle.map coordinates 46.335946, 15.409969
The original Roman core of the castle is now barely visible. In the western part of the design of the lower walls reveal Roman walls and Roman is also a small tower at the eastern end. Most are preserved walls comes from the Gothic period of the twelfth century.

There are two castles in Vitanje, Slovenia. Old Castle Vitanje,

The Old Castle was recorded as owned by the Knight Marchwart de Witenstain in 1107; so it follows the build date was much earlier. It was damaged by an earthquake in 1201. Between 1353 and 1429, the New Castle is the site mentioned in records as the main dwelling of the local rulers. The old castle was probably abandoned completely after the earthquake of 1511.

Olvera Castle is located in Olvera, in the Province of Cadiz, Spain.

Olvera was built in the late twelfth century , as part of the defensive system of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada.

Carastas Castle is located about 5 km northeast of Olvera in the province of Cadiz. It is also known as the castle of Ayamonte.

There is little to no documentation on this castle. Archeological evidence suggests it was built by the Almoravids in the 11th or 12th century.

Sissacherfluh Castle is a castle in the municipality of Sissach of the canton of Basel-Land in Switzerland.

A first use is likely in the late Bronze Age to be done. Of these, a few remnants of were post houses discovered in the western part of the system. The main use was probably in the early middle ages : a 2 meter thick defense walls (double shell with earth filling) with gate and tower on the northern corners of the gently sloping north side to protect the whole area.

Masyaf Castle is located in the town of Masyaf, Syria.

Evidence suggests that the lower layers and foundations of the castle are of Byzantine origin.[1] Later levels were added by the Nizari Ismailis, Mamluks, and Ottomans.
