Cooler weather this weekend?

Just checked the forecast and its supposed to cool off on Saturday, with a high in the upper 60's. I am a huge fan of this as I might be running around as Carmen Sandiego that day, haven't quite decided yet!

Speaking of cooler weather, how much firewood would be adequate for this weekend?  We will be there Friday through Sunday.  My firepit is 30" wide FYI.

Hopefully folks will warn those setting up camp in the River of Death and The Swamp area downstream. Saw a couple of tents second weekend that were a "bit" swamped, plus some vehicles in soft earth. Third weekend, saw several vehicles/tents in the low areas and thought "Hmm, what if we had a heavy rain?"

Look out for your fellow campers. Most of you have experienced the good and the bad. Keep everyone safe.

Don't forget your hand warmers and hot chocolate.  Add a bit of vanilla rum to it and I am good to go lol!

Just a heads up for possible cold weather preparedness.  The PP and I were at sams this past week and they had a 'case' of hand warmers for $7 bucks.  That is 28 pair of hand warmers.  The PP does NOT do cold.  The local camping store was selling fleece pockets for hand warmers so you can toss them in your bed to keep it warm in the night.  I am making a few for our clan.


FYI they also had foot and toe warms by the case as well. If it starts getting cool might not be a bad investment.
