This might not be the best photo of the gown... but it is a SPECTACULAR photo of YOU!

LOVE it!!!

And the hat you picked out goes great with the ensemble!

I see what you mean about the partlet you're wearing looking too Italian...HEY! since you have SO much time before your event ;) you can always chose to make a blackworked partlet to go with that lovely coif...

That is GORGEOUS!

I agree about the partlet being too Italian looking. But do you absolutely need a partlet for this outfit?

Yeah - all the images of this style of gown show a nice ruff at the neck.  I have some plain white linen ones, but the collars are too wide and sit funny with the purple.  I COULD get away with one of those - but I'll be much happier if I just make a new one.  With lace trim. ;)

Sliverstah, I have a few ruffs that are white linen with a hint of lace on the end.  I think I even had matching cuffs but don't quote me on that.  Since I'm assuming you are wearing this to 12th Night in Atlantia, would you want me to bring mine as a back up plan?

I'll try and find the ruff.  :-)   Can't wait to see you again too.  It sounds like this one should be a lot of fun.

I made a belly dancing costume for this past summer.

Thank you I made it reversible but the gold I used on the inside of the jacket just didn't look as nice as I thought it would. It does give me opptions in the future though I guess.

Silverstah, I'm so sorry we missed each other at 12th night.   The event itself was so large and so lovely it was hard to find anyone.

My dress at the end of the night!  :-)   It took people a minute to realize it the front of the skirt opening and the neckline were lined in real fur as well as the sleeves.

Very pretty, Isabella & Silverstah!  I'm sure y'all turned heads at the event!

Beautiful gowns Silverstah and Isabella!

I finished my son in law's shirt in November, but his doublet made it's debut at Scarborough last spring. I made 2 other shirts like this but one in yellow and the other in blue. I'll post them after I get them hemmed.
