Our final weekend of 1192

well, the end of sherwood's fourth season is upon us.  i am sad.  it's been a fantastic season.  thanks to all of you.  we are planning this weekend to be our best yet.  forecast is for isolated thunderstorms, but that wont effect us one iota.  sandy soil.  good slope in terrain.  and the last three weekends where we had 20-30% chance for rain, none was forthcoming.  either way, faire will open in fine fashion saturday and sunday at 10am.

sunday will have special activities:  easter egg hunt for kids in the morning.  an easter service at the chapel.  and FULL CONTACT JOUST TOURNAMENT!!! with the return of the BLACK KNIGHT. 

Come out and camp with us to celebrate our fourth season.

 As weather wizard I think I have done a pretty good job of keeping rain away from Sherwood faire days! Don't listen to the forecasters! Trust the wizards!  We will try for this final weekend too. 20% chance by forecasters- is 80% chance it won't rain on Sherwood!
It has been a wonderful season!  Come out and enjoy!!!

I am beyond thrilled! I saw this place when it was sand, dead-fall, and blue-prints a few times, and Now I get to Enjoy the Shire for the First Time! Can't Wait! See y'all Saturday!!!
