   Has anyone ordered form them lately?  I placed an order on February 25th, my Credit card was charged around the end of last month.    So far, no clasps.
  I have emailed them twice, no response.
  I called the 877-793-1066 during business hours and got their voice mail.  I left a detailed message then.   Nada.
   According to the TOS, they don't charge the credit card until they are ready to ship.  My project is on hold for these clasps.

They may have been at Gulf Wars (march 10 -17) so you might want to try again.

   True,  but I have emailed them and called since then.   I wonder if they are taking some time off?

  Just got an Email from them stating they are refunding my money back to my card-no explanation.  Lovely.
   Now I have to find another source for the clasps at the last minute. 


Edit: I received a second email advising that they had a vendor problem, so they don't know when they will have any of the clasps I want so I will need to find another source for similar clasps.  Still would have been nice to know this a few weeks ago.

    Their TOS is correct, but only if you use your credit card directly on the PV site (which I don't because I prefer to not to give out the security code).   
     Payments through PayPal are debited immediately and sent to the seller.   It is up to the seller to arrange for refunds.

Thanks! I was just coming over here to get some websites for other sources.   The only gold glasps this one has are the same ones I already have (though a much better price).  I was hoping to use something different, but I have a deadline so i may order these in the short term.


Is Brazen Button still around?  I used to get aglets from them....

Depending on how desperate you are, and what you need, sometimes JoAnn fabrics has nice clasps.

  Joanns' and Hancocks has 2-3 on hand at the most, and I need 10.
   If there is a problem with the supplier (and the other sites say they are backordered) then I am stuck back ordering through them, same as PV but more expensive.

I have not ordered anything lately from Pillaged Village. Nor have I had any problems when I have ordered.

It's a sign of the times, friends.  Unfortunately shortages (and therefore backorders) are becoming more common.  If you find a source for those clasps, get enough for this project and, if you can, try to project what you might need in the future & stock up. 

We run an online retail store & I can tell you that we've had a hard time with some of our vendors telling us that they have to backorder us because their suppliers of raw materials, etc. are are backordering them, etc.  It all runs downhill as the saying goes.

My main point was just that: stock up if you can, even if it's with those gold ones you've used before.  Good luck!

 Update: I was able to order the same ones I wanted from PV from Joann's (they had 4 on hand) I got them 3 days later, since they had enough in their warehouse to cover another 10.  I had also ordered extra of the alternate to cover another 2-3 projects.

When I ordered from them in march I was very disapointed in them.  I needed trim with in 2 weeks, normally not a problem.  However they didn't note that they were sending 90% of their stock to Gulf wars and couldn't fill it until April 1st.  I needed the trim by March 22nd.  I contacted them and they cancled the order before my card was charged.
