I thought I saw Otwell out of the gate Saturday after cannon, but I wasn't sure at all if it was him..

You know... there's one way that's proven to help one find out...  and it works every time!  haha!

It could have quite possibly been me as I was outside the gate several times during the day.

Lady Kaalyn, Dissension, and any others who care: I will most likely be there all day both days, so hopefully we can all hook up at some point!

I saw quite a few of you, but I can't say I really met any of you. I'm the lass with short hair working the gate. I wasn't trying to be shy or rude, I just didn't feel it was my place to introduce myself while I was working. I won't really have time to meet. I work open to close and my lunch break varies. The days I get out early I pretty well have to head strait home to take care of my kidlets. I would love to say hello or have a quick chat if a lull in traffic permits.

We missed the tailgate. We had another couple with us and my grandkids on Sunday. To many people always makes sure we don't make it places on time.
We did make the bakery right after cannon on Saturday but didn't recognize anyone.
Truthfully I have been losing a battle with a sinus infection and had even less focus at faire than usual.
Eventually I found people at the wine tasting (Donacatalina & Merlin) and Otwell found me sitting on my favorite bench while my Lovely Lady was shopping one of her favorite stores (The tapestry lady). Also some grown woman who claims to be the child I knew as Meggers gave me hugs a couple of times. Impersonator I think.
I'm sure I am forgetting someone but I am currently sitting here at home heavily medicated waiting for the time of my Doc appointment (you know it's gotten bad if I'm going to the Doc's). So for those I met and can't recall right now... I can't wait to meet you for the first time again!

I have a sinus infection thing going on, broke a record and was given 5 prescriptions for it all
I do feel better already though.
Two of the meds say no alchohol while taking them.

So i was running late today and didn't to meet anyone.  Saw oswyn and his awesome wig but that was about it.  Will be back out at fair tomorrow.  hope to see a few more people.

I feel sooo bad that I have been busy showing around my "companion ticket" people, and not had any time for you good folks!!!  Today was the last day of my free friends!  I hope to share tomorrow with other faire friends and I wish so badly to make new friends as well!  (That means when you see me, please attack me and say hi!!!  Merlin the Elder and Nimue, Dona Catalina and her husband, and Lady Kett and her husband can vouch for me...  I do NOT bite too hard!!!)

I saw and spoke with Oswyn a little bit after closing cannon!
I hope to see many people at the tailgate tomorrow, as well as spend MUCH time with everyone else inside the gate!!!

Unfortunately, I won't have much to offer tomorrow at the tailgate, as my Mead was FAAAR more popular than expected... But I will have a small taste to ANYONE who seeks me out, and speaks the code word!     (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE seeing other's enjoyment of my creation!!!)

I finally got to meet Oswyn; but it was at lunch when we stopped for some nibbles. The wig was all he said it would be.

The wig was amazing, I loved it.  I missed everyone again this weekend. Its what I get for riding with other people. I wanted to go to tail gate both days and didnt get to fair till almost noon each day.

Saturday at closing gate I met Allerick Afon Adou (absolutely delightful wizard chap!) and we got to chatting while the bagpipes played. (Thankfully this all happened post-wig) and Otwell Throckmorton grabbed us and stole us away to his carriage for the best mead I've tasted yet! I so enjoyed chatting with them both, and cant wait to see them again!

And Dona Catalina, you and your party were such a delight! I look forward to chatting a bit more when I'm a bit less hectic. I thought the wig would be popular, but it got far more reaction than I had ever imagined, and I was a bit overwhelmed, to be honest! (in a good way of course).

Sunday I was able to spend a bit more time with Otwell, and I'm glad I did. He is passionate and enegetic about faire and brewing, and a great fellow to be around.

I also passed lady Kaalyn several times on both days. Always a pleasure! and her mum and sister are quite sweet as well.

This weekend was a true reminder to me of why I am so in love with Scarby, and ren faires in general. What an amazing group of people! This is really one of the best weekends I have had in a looooong time. Thank you all!
