Has anyone seen this? Just released within the last month, and in line, cost-wise, with other costuming books at around $30:

The few reviews so far seem pretty positive. You can't see much from the "look inside" feature. I've had a sample sent to my Kindle, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

I've heard good things about it and have added it to my wish list.

Ooooh!  Thanks for the head's up, Gem.  I'm wondering, though, if the draping/pattern making is along historical lines or if it uses modern techniques to approximate the "look".  Anyone who gets their paws on this book, please post a review!!!

I  have looked at--but not yet read--the Kindle preview. I would recommend anyone interested actually buy the real book. The quality of the digitized photographs is not that great (maybe better on a newer HD Kindle?).

The impressive thing about the sample, however, is that it's the entire first lesson on draping a basic sloper--from padding your dressform all the way through transferring to paper. That's a generous sample!

I think I'm going to order it. I'm just about done with a major work milestone, and could use a little treat!  ;D
