I have absolutely NOT got the patience to do this kind of work.  BUT I have found out a way to put the pin-pieces on... JoAnn sells Hatpin pieces.  You bead them up, put on a clear stopper, then insert them into the piece.  I did this on my "Russian crown" a couple of years ago  for my Gyptian character.  A poor imitation of this wonderful work... these are stunning.

The hatpins are available through Hobby Lobby too.  I have a few that come in handy to pin on snoods with.

I looked at her FB site-In some of the last pictures in her album she posted examples of her business cards-She is a Production and costume designer as well as Milliner.  She probably has a day job at one of the studios there, and, of course, knows where to get all that luscious trim and jewelry findings.   Her hats are incredibly well made; some serious skills there, and worth every penny.  I wonder where she went to school?

I want to try to make that pouffy, soft one with the cartridge pleats pinned together with pearls....
She showed it from all sides on her FB page.   the crown is made of one piece, and the brim is about 1.5".  The trim she used on the edge is available through Joanns.
Her brim work is just amazing: Smooth and seamless, wonderful shaping, original ideas.
That split brim on the front of the plum colored top hat is ingenious!
On the first crown-I'm pretty sure the pin-like decorations are made of chandelier earring findings and twisted gold wire (there are special pliers that will do that very precisely).  Might be doable if you can find enough earring dangles and hat pins
