I had the same issue.  I messaged Tom about it and apparently it has something to do with the spam filters here.  Can you get a message to him so he can make sure your credentials are accepted?

That notice was sent out a couple days ago by Tom...that there WOULD be a challenge to some users. If you didn't try to get on last Sunday, you may not know that the system went down. There's still a bit of residual bother. He's trying to get it all resolved.

I admin a forum, and the spammers are relentless. Keeping things at a happy medium between not spending hours a day doing cleanup and resolving access issues can be a real non-male parent of a young canine.

On yesterday during Lunch, I found that I was being blocked when trying to access R/F Forums using my Nexus 7 Tablet via its AT&T Cellular Data connection.

When the Tablet is connected to the Internet using a WiFi Hotspot, it can access the Forums without any problems.


If you can't connect to the Forums to report that you can't connect to the Forums, how do you let Tom know which IP Address is being blocked?

Well, hello, all you Southern folks (and those of you in other directions, as well)!  Everyone getting ready for opening?  What's new with everyone around here, lately? 

We've been settling into the house pretty well up here, dealing with computer issues and trying to stay in out of the heat... and getting ready for my grandpa's 100th birthday this Sunday.  Should be quite the family reunion!

I have a year or two on you... i rarely post outside of TRF.  Rani has us all beat.

She and her daughter are delightful people. We had the pleasure of their company at Castleton a couple of years back.

We've been trying to reconnect, but there seems to be a force trying to keep us away from them! Strange! They were coming to Nim and my vow renewal at Scarby last year and their van broke. Then this year, we were planning on heading to Castleton when we got hit by a tornado.

Things like that need to stop happening!  Disasters, natural or otherwise, are no longer allowed to keep us from spending time together, Wizard!  Make it so!!!
