Thanks Hector!  Putting this in the ticket deals thread. :)

Thanks.  Just after I pressed the post button I remembered there was a previous thread for ticket deals.   :P

I will be at the TRF campgrounds gate in 66 days and 7 hours and 35 minutes!!  Cheeeers!!!

May your cup never be empty, and your tent always be upwind of the privy.

Where the hell is everyone?  This is the least action I've seen, this close to faire, in the four years this thread has been around!  She's a flatlining...

I'm here, but I most likely won't be there [at TRF]. I just like the company here...

'most likely'..... well that isn't a 'will not' so maybe there is hope that we can convince you and your lovely bride to visit us this season!  ;D

I'm around, just usually only checking it once in the morning and then again once in the afternoon.. with work being crazy, then trying to finish up some stuff before the move down there and prepping for the move after I'm down there in both work and home I'm not around all day.. though I usually try to leave it up.

Very busy here as well. But I'm really looking forward to opening weekend this year. Sounds like there will be a lot of new things to see.

Perhaps some fresh air has been blown into the faire.

I think the consensus has been (in this thread, on FB, and out in real life) that this year is crazy, moving fast, and people are busy with all that is going on in personal lives, work, politics, economics, etc...

I can only speak for myself when I say that I am counting down the days to take my vacation, which is TRF season (with weekday workdays), to kick of my workclothes and wrap myself in my kilt, camping, bonfires, Brigadoon ale , turkey legs, kettle corn and the life that is New Market Village!!  Lift up my cares and enjoy "real" life!!

Huzzah!!

Hey y'all,
So this year we have the opportunity to go 2 weekend instead of just one.  We always go Highland Fling.  Any advice on another weekend?

Aye, All Hallow's Eve does not disappoint.  Pirate Weekend is not too shabby either.

However, Celtic Weekend (Turkey Day Weekend) does allow for camping Wednesday through Monday.  It is usually a bit colder, people on campgrounds a bit warmer, New Market less hectic, and just a nice farewell to TRF season.
