New spot to camp suggestions

The clan were on site this past weekend.  We camped in the spot we have for the past 3-4 years.  Normally it is semi quiet back there.  We were in section 8, back near quiet camping.   We know by camping near porta johns there will be some noise, we accept that.  And because we are in general camping, and simple acoustics, there will be some noise. We had someone shouting "Hipp hipp hazzah" from 2AM-4AM one night, and someone starting at 4 AM going to different tents and shouting " WAKEUP!!", and doing a rooster crow.   I get it, non amlified sound is fine after 12AM, but really ?  I don't think it is respectful to do that regardless of the rules.  We also get that it was pirate weekend, and it tends to be a bit rowdy, but nothing compared to Halloween.  TYpically we go roman bacchanal weekend, which is typically right after halloween, and most hard partiers miss that week, so it is not surprising to be a little quieter. We get that.

We were just curious if you had any suggestions on where we could still be in the general camping area, but be a little furthur from the noise makers.  We don't want to go to the family camping because 1) next year the masquerade will be back there and who knows how loud that will be 2) there is no shade in that area, and we want trees.  3)  We can get a little loud when we play cards against humanity and indulge in libations.  We want to have fun but still crash at midnight and sleep till 8 AM.  No more of this of jerks doing rooster crows outside our tents at 4AM.
I know jerks can be anywhere, but we are open to suggestions.

Personally, we've had pretty good luck on the west side of the campgrounds, along the tree-line.  It's a little farther to walk getting to the gate, but the noise level from the bonfire area is far enough away for me to sleep comfortably...with earplugs.

If the area gets crowded, I make a point to introduce myself to other campers, and guage their nocturnal intentions through conversation.  I've been able to talk down a few rowdy bunches.
It ain't the years, it's the mileage.

Where McShuggenah and PR camps is actually very quiet...even on AHE. Just an occasional drum or two to lull you to sleep.

That's exactly what we are looking for. Maybe we will also follow the suggestions for you Lady Stitch!

We camp on the west side of camp as well, roughly about D14 on the map Lady Jessica posted.  We tried the tree line one year and found it wasn't our cup of tea because people kept blocking our cars in, and the drainage was bad. when it rained we got flooded out bad.  One group we had noise problems with were in the tree line behind us.  Many of our group didn't want to have to use ear plugs.

We normally get there about noon on Friday so we can get a good spot and talk to our neighbors to feel them out.  One group was good, they had noise but stopped at midnight. Our issue mostly was our neighbors that arrived after midnight on Friday night.  No way to gauge those.

We were thinking  around H, I, J in the 12-14 row range next year.  It is roughly the same distance from gate as the old one but seems further from loud camps.

We camped in the new area 1a. next to the blacktop close to the gate/handycap parking. Was a nice close walk to the faire and wasnt overly noisy

Is there a map online somewhere that shows the row numbers and area? All I can find is a map of the faire.

I've seen a basic map on the TRF Facebook page for the campgrounds:   https://www.facebook.com/TheFieldsOfNewMarketCampground

You have to scroll down quite a bit to find it (there are a couple showing shower area and down further is one showing most, if not all, of the campgrounds.

I don't think it shows row numbers of any sort.
