Wow... somebody put a bee in everyone's bonnets in the last couple of days!  This is more traffic than this thread has seen in WEEKS!  It's kind of nice... I wish you would all drop in here more often.

Middle of the night, here... and the freezing rain has started.  It's only 20 degrees out there right now, and it's supposed to turn to snow at some point, but not until we get that good solid coating of ice underneath it first, of course.    Good thing we don't have to go anywhere tomorrow, and we already have a pot of stew (tonight's leftover roast beef) ready to be heated for lunch!  We might have another snow day on Monday, from the look of things, but supposedly Tuesday is going to bring back the early spring weather... so it's not too terrible. 

Looks like y'all have the spring weather down there this weekend!

Low of 35 my arse... it was 27/16 when i left the house this morning.  I'm glad i didn't start planting stuff, yesterday....

Oddest thing coming back from Sherwood yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

Temperature outside was about 45-50 degrees. Inside truck, it was possibly 50-55 degrees.

On Highway 290, just by the Premium Outlets, the outside temperature jumped to 78 degrees in seconds.

The odd thing was, a cloud formed "inside" the truck cab.

I know... I've been wanting to get started on some spring planting, but we're supposed to be getting another round or two of this stuff, tomorrow and possibly Friday, as well!  I'm definitely feeling a bit of Spring Fever this year... and am looking forward to being able to get outside again.  We have some planting AND some painting to get done, and  it needs to be done by the 22nd, which is Miss ScallyWag's 13th natal day celebration cookout/picnic... which we're supposed to be holding in the backyard!  Of course, I don't want to rush the season, at all... because I am not at ALL looking forward to the heat of summer.  I just wish the year could have a whole lot MORE spring and fall, and just a bit less winter and summer!

Mike... that must have been kind of freaky!  I've walked in clouds up in the mountains, and even driven through them... but I've never ridden in the car with one!    lol

Our friend, Rapier, has made through his first in a series of operations.  He should now gain back use of his left hand.

This is good news, as a Rapier is much improved when used with a main-gauche (left hand)

I didn't know he was having surgery!  It's been a while since I saw anything from him on facebook, and now I can't even find him on there.  I wonder if he just deactivated his account? 

I hope he is doing ok, and heals fast!
