This one doublet was a rush job done between Sunday afternoon and Thursday night. This was after I discovered that his lordship had left all of the heavier doublets for the hottest part of the season.
The outer fabric is a off-white embroidered silk blend and I was lucky enough to find a cotton jacquard the same color as the embroidery.

Dona C, that is SMASHING! And I love getting to see your finished green gown--is that the one we were picking sleeves for last summer?

Thank you all. Actually this one is a bit older. The other one is still being beaded.

Wow!  You've been busy!  Great work!  And I can hardly believe how big your little guy is getting, Sabrina!!!  How can it possibly have been that long since he was born?  He's so adorable in his little kilt, also!  :)

Thanks Rani! I finished all that in about two weeks. I'm highly motivated when Faire comes around, as I'm sure many here are  ;D Lil Man will be 4 on the 24th. I can't believe how fast he's grown either :) he loves wearing garb, too. Now he can tell me what colors he's wants, so he's also getting a green shirt with brown pants, hopefully before Memorial Day :)

Finished a new dress for myself a month back. Had to haul sass to get it done for its debut at RPF but it came together relatively quickly.
