Fire up the Wayback Machine, there's some oldies in here. I freely admit, this kicked me in the emotional dangly bits, as I started faire twenty-five years ago, and other than four years ('99-'03) where I was in Washington and unable to come down due to work, I managed to make it at least one weekend every year. I even managed to finagle everything from last-second flights to renting a car Friday after formation and driving it back in time for morning revile on Monday to come in from Benning. I get slammed with nostalgia when I see a lot of these pics, yearning for those days when I went to faire for the magic of it, to step away from the world and into a place where Merlin walked the streets, barbarians chased women, fairies enchanted children, and a young man could believe- even if just for a moment- that he had set foot into the world of dreams and heroic tales.

Anyway, here ya go-

Apparently we used to have mountains? (Some of the joust photos on page 12) I've been known to have a few, but I thought I'd remember that. Guess they took those out when they took out the maypole...

Most interesting to me is some of the people who _aren't_ in any of the photos.
