Anyone want to see a video about making burnt mead?

So tempted to do that in a future batch.  Would definitely have to have an outdoor setup though because if a pot full of pure honey boiled over on the stove I might not live through the experience.  The other marrieds will understand.  Having a room for brewing stuff is one thing but wrecking the kitchen is a whole other world of bad idea.

I don't think that is burnt mead- just regular mead.

You're right.  I realized it one second after I posted it.  So, that crazy mead video is the only burnt mead video on how to make it.

Est OG: 1.103 (24.3° P)   Mash Profile: Single Infusion, Light Body, No Mash Out
Est FG: 0.977 SG (-6.1° P)   Fermentation: Ale, Two Stage
ABV: 16.9%   Taste Rating: 30.0
Ingredients

1.00   Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15 min)   Misc   1
1 pkgs   Champagne Yeast (White Labs #WLP715)   Yeast   2
5.00 tsp   Yeast Nutrient (Primary 3 days)   Misc   3
10 lbs   Honey (1.0 SRM)   Grain   4
5 lbs   Honey (1.0 SRM)   Grain   5
Notes
Boil 5lbs of Clover honey with no water until honey is a dark caramel color. Boil 10lbs of Clover honey with 5.75gal of water for 30minutes. (whirlflock, nutrient, energizer at 15min) Add 5lbs of Caramel honey into 10lb solution at last 2min of boil. Ferment in wide lid bucket for CO2 purging, re-aeration and staggered nutrient additions.
