The Boots are in!  Finally.  I've only put it off since year before last.  Last year, my Tac boots just about crippled me...I would've been better off wearing my damn moccasins.  It showed me that...
1. How freaking out of shape i was.
2. How freaking much i was out of shape.

Not this year.

Sooo... new boots means you don't have to get back in shape?  How did I not know this???  I would have bought new boots YEARS ago!!!

My Tac boots killed me but for a guy that used to be able to hump 30+ miles a day, in GI reg boots,  the boots weren't the main problem.  I hoof anywhere between 2-5 miles every day now.

We all used to be able to do things like that, Fraiser.  I used to fire M-16s, M-60s, M203s and go with Smokejumpers.
Now I ride StudMuffin (which is almost as much fun) (Well, maybe not compared to the 203)
It is called GETTNG OLDER.  Which is crap, but still better than the alternative.

I hope we can all complain to each other about it for many more years.

I recall being able to sit "zazen" (used to call it "criss-cross-applesause" when we were kids) all day playing drums, as well... and now I couldn't do that to my knees again if you paid me... or hike the upper mountain trails. 

I will be passing a particular milestone birthday this year... and it's not at all one I ever thought I would live to see!   

Of course, I never thought I would live past 30, either... so who knows?  I may be here forever...      LOL

I just made Nirn a moon of a gas giant instead of a planet of its own. That being said, there are mods to add Yautja (Predators), Halo armour and weapons, the Normandy from Mass Effect (crashed into the ground like a lawn dart outside Whiterun), and so on out there, so it's been done
