It was a good weekend, I decided against going in on Sunday after a rather rough Saturday night. See everyone AHE!

Its been quite awhile since I've checked in here and had alit happening recently. Got married!  My husband and I will be camping November 8-9 which is kind of an off weekend I don't think most of you will be there but its our anniversary weekend and we couldn't think of a better place to spend it. Hopefully we will also make it to closing weekend and see some of you then.

We went this past saturday and had a decent time (no fault of faire, personal issues).  We were a little irritated to get there before the gates opened and still had to park in row 9 just because we didn't want to pay the extra for the preferred parking.  This was the first day trip we have made in years.   I was also bit shocked to have to pay $3.50 for a soda!  Really?!?!?!  That kind of markup is a bit ridiculous!  Beyond that, the grounds looked wonderful and faire was awesome as always.  By lunchtime it was packed and when we left before 2, there was a line of cars backed up making their way in.  I do have one suggestion, with all the plastic & glass bottles and beer cans being sold it would be great to have some recycling bins to deposit them into instead of feeling horrible throwing them in the trash!

Watching the clock... can't leave until finished and things are getting added to the list every five minutes...and i STILL have to come in on Friday.

Woke up this morning at about 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep...so I got up and made the chili for this weekend.
